Junior | January 30
I lived in Kollen during the transition into summer period, and while I can't speak on the friendly versus quiet vibe or how the RAs are, I think Kollen is well placed on campus, giving you close access to the gym and Phelps Dining, and the BSC which is a good shortcut hub to get to the other side of campus as needed. My downsides are that the dorms are TINY, and even bunked or raised, the beds still take up a ton of room making it hard to move around in sometimes.

Sophomore | April 3
This dorm is more on the social side, but it’s not the most social (you still need to put in effort to make friends here, vs. Dykstra). It’s often stereotyped as the party/athletic dorm, which isn’t far off. The dorms are on the smaller side, and the bathrooms are really nice, but sometimes far away. The gym is right behind this building.
