The room at Baits II that I have is a suite style. I have a roommate as I have a double within the suite, but there is also a single dorm within our room that houses my suitemate. We have a common room that connects our two bedrooms that also connects to the bathroom we three share. The room is relatively spacious as well are the bedrooms and bathroom. The amenities (furniture and bathroom appliances) are a bit older, but each resident is provided a bed, a dresser, a set of drawers, and a large trash can, desk, and chair. There is also a couch and a coffee table provided for the common room. There is a shower curtain in the bathroom that does a good job of keeping water inside, but it would be useful to also purchase a bathmat. The shower has a tendency to steam up the mirrors and the bathroom can become quite damp for about half an hour after a shower is taken. The beds given cannot fully loft due to the ceilings being too short, but they can be half lofted with an acceptable amount of space between where you will sleep and the ceiling. There is no air conditioning and the heating is quite old and not very effective. The students also have no control over it. It is a good idea to buy a fan to constantly run in order to keep the room from becoming musty and to open all windows at least once a day for about an hour. Things mold and start to smell very easily. The whole building of Cross House, the subdivision of Baits II in which I lived, had a tendency to become quite unpleasantly odorous at times, so it is a good idea to also buy an air freshener if that is possible. The communal kitchen in the Cross House building is nice as it provides seating for eating as well as for hanging out, and there is a TV. The amenities in the kitchen are functional and allow for a good deal of cooking and storing food to be done. There is an oven, a microwave oven, stoves, and a large fridge/freezer for communal use, as well as a sink to clean dishes. There are also storage cabinets.
