Before applying for housing they ask you what kind of space you like personally I put neat/tidy and the roommates they give you are terrible and dont clean up after themselves what so ever. When you make a complain about it they offer the RA to come in and talk but it hardly changes anything other than the environment. I have had to beg the front office for a new roommate multiple times because the environment was hostile and uninviting/uncomfortable. Then they give me an even worse roommate when they switch me. When I arrived there was a mess everywhere, dishes in the communal space, stains/water/juice/sticky substances on the counter, crumbs everywhere, the stove was unrecognizable, and there was a litter box in front of my room door so I accidentally opened her room thinking it was mine because why would a litter box be in front of my door? Worst of all there was ants all over the shower that I had to get rid of because there is no maintenance on weekends. I dont even want to clean anymore because of my roommate making it so dirty the very next day not even bothering to clean up anything (as expected seeing as she never cleans up any of her messes). I talk to housing and they dont do anything about it. I am currently trying to move out into more affordable apartments (which is another distraction from my studies) because I cant concentrate on my studies in this kind of environment. Highly recommended not wasting your time, stress, and tuition on this poorly facilitated housing for close to $3,000 every semester.
