This is the oldest hall on campus, you can't expect much. It's close to all of the academic buildings, but a hike to all other dorm halls AND the dining hall. The distance to the athletic facilities is a whole 'nother story. SO far. Shango has communal bathrooms, but honestly could be worse. As long as everyone picks up after themselves. The room itself is tiny. Furniture is old, floors are permanently dirty, walls are gross. I did like the closets though - was almost like a wardrobe.

You are lucky to get one hot shower a week. Even when you get that one hot shower, the showers are disgusting and have see-through curtains. There have been multiple times where we have been without toilet paper for weeks on end. The walls are thin as paper, and you can hear everything going on at each side of your dorm. It feels like you are living in poverty in this terrible dorm, and if you get put in Shango, I recommend moving out within a week.
