There cockroaches. It seems that this has been a problem in the past and now one cares. Why does no one care. We are humans too. We are paying to be here so why can’t it at least not have cockroaches. I cant sleep tonight because I am scared of them.

This dorm is actually a piece of ass. The rooms are extremely hot I think I lost 30 pounds from sweating the first week. The walls are wet and nothing sticks to them so good luck trying to hang something up. The bathrooms water is slimy and makes my hair fall out and I smell worse after I take a shower. The bathrooms are just overall disgusting, there are bugs crawling everywhere and we haven't even reached wintertime. The worst part of it all is that there is a massive yellowjacket hive outside of the girl's side fourth floor and we have about 2-3 bees a day, just in our own room that we need to kill. (Other rooms have has 20 bees at a time). We have filed multiple "Fix its" and complained to the front desk and RA and nothing has been done. Our screen has multiple holes that the bees get in through and they haven't fixed that either. Girls here are super nice and fun tho, prolly cause were all going through it.

Owen Hall is the most social freshman dorm on campus. Many girls that live here later choose to rush. Overall, Owen wasn’t all that bad for the price compared to other dorms. Although it seemed to be farther than other dorms to academic campus, Slayter Hill is across the street, where I would hammock, lay out and do homework, or go sledding in the winter.
