I lived at Briscoe a bit before transferring and it was a great dorm. The main issue was that the walk from my dorm to campus was way too far especially when, during my first week of classes, there was a heat wave

The room is super cozy and i had a good view of the football stadium. it’s a really nice dorm but if you’re not into partying it can be a little stressful finding friends in briscoe.

Briscoe was the perfect location when wanting to get to the athletic facilities, Gresham, or Kelley, but other locations can be a hike. However, there is a bus stop right outside the building which makes it convenient. The building just received a C-Store which is super convenient and it has a ton of options! The building itself is very clean and new, which great AC and heat. I had a suite, so I had a living space shared between two doubles and a bathroom. It was amazing and honestly bigger than my room at home. We were right across the hall from the trash room and had free laundry. It is on the quiet side, but I also lived in a living learning community so it depends on your floor.

The room is very nice you have a sink in your room and then share a bathroom and shower with the room next to you. The location is not super close to campus but it’s a simple walk that doesn’t take long and it’s close to football and basketball games.

I loved living in Briscoe! Having my bathroom in my room was a game changer, and I met some of my best friends there. It’s a social dorm but also a lot of athletes lived there so everyone was like minded in knowing when to get things done. Great people great place, I wouldn’t have wanted to live anywhere else my freshman year.

The size of the rooms in Briscoe are amazing. Great size for my roommate and I. In addition, the bathrooms are not communal, but instead shared with a suite-mate. This was a great set up!

There was little to no dining near Briscoe, except for Gresham, which had very few options for me as a vegan and even vegetarians. I was very frustrated by this. Additionally, it was a bit lonely being away from other people since Foster and McNutt were closed. Other than that, I loved everything about Briscoe.

Got the most part I really enjoyed living in Briscoe. The rooms were really nice and it was nice to have your own bathroom. My floor was super friendly, but I heard this wasn’t the case for other floors. My room connected to another room, which I wasn’t aware of until I moved in.
