STRATEGIC PLAN: GOALS 2017 Credit Bearing and Professional Development Programs Goals: • Refine curriculum to best meet the educational objectives. • Make RRC’s rabbinic program appealing to and feasible for a wider range of students. • Continue to develop offerings for Jewish professionals, lay leaders and allied professionals who have continuing education requirements. Programs and Resources for the Reconstructionist Movement Goals: • Help Reconstructionist leaders and members feel connected to each other and to the movement. • Help Reconstructionist congregations and havurot flourish. • Collaborate with Reconstructionist leaders and members to build and express Reconstructionist ideas, values and processes. • Lay the foundation for increased revenue to RRC/JRC through dues and contributions. Innovation and Impact Goals: • Spur and support innovation in the Reconstructionist community • Learn from and with Reconstructionist innovators. • Amplify the impact of Reconstructionist innovations. Reconstructionist Visibility and Constituency Building Goals: • Support key institutional goals and priorities (e.g., enrollment in rabbinic program, fundraising, dues and contributions from affiliates) • Reach and inspire target audiences to: o Connect with RRC/JRC. o Take action with and in support of RRC/JRC. • Increase the visibility and impact of RRC/JRC and key movement leaders in the North American and global Jewish communities. Institutional Health and Excellence Goals: • Follow maximally effective and transparent systems and procedures. • Secure the institution’s financial base. Camp JRF Goals: • Increase enrollment in Camp JRF for summer 2017 by approximately 5%. • Explore new program opportunities.
